Pratikism

My son just told me he is bored. “Life is boring” are his exact words.

When a 5 year old chucks that line at you, what the hell do you do?

Any pointers?

5 years kid.. not enough frnds to play with or strech him to learn new things. Keeping the kids engaged with a task is easier way to get rid of these comments. Keep them busy Always..

Put him to work – nothing like chores to make a kid feel doing nothing is fun. (I know, I’m evil :D )

  • gOOpi says:

try for some music classes or something.. carnatic?? piano?? guitar?? drums?? lots are there..

I agree with you and goopi re classes and/or other things to keep him engaged. he does have those things, blve me. i am also of the opinion that a child shld be able to entertain himself too at times and not need the mum all the time to think of new things to play. improve imagination eh? (in other words, i am lazy!)

ooohhhh u are not evil cos my mind runs that way too. i tried that tack and my son, the Slippery Eel, sang a diff tune straight away!
